Ages 2–5 · real jigsaw pieces

252 pictures. 756 puzzles.

Twelve themes, twenty-one pictures in each, and a tray of real jigsaw pieces with teeth and hollows. A piece answers only to its own place — so a child who aims wrong loses nothing but a moment.

How it plays

Drag a piece. Feel it click home.

The board on the left shows the finished picture, faded, with the cut lines drawn on it. The answer is never hidden — the work is moving the pieces, not guessing the result. The child pulls pieces from the tray on the right, one at a time, until the picture comes back whole.

  • Pieces have teeth and hollows, never plain rectangles
  • A piece answers only to its own place — no wrong hole to fall into
  • The grab zone is wider than half a piece, and grows on every near miss
  • Everything installs with the app — no internet, no account
The board and the tray of pieces
Six pieces of a monster truck, waiting in the tray.

Twelve themes

Twenty-one pictures in every theme

Vehicles, dinosaurs, the sea, food, jobs. Twelve subjects, twenty-one pictures each. The first picture of every theme is free, so a child can try all twelve before a grown-up decides anything.

Three sizes

Four, six or eight pieces

Touch a picture and a panel opens showing the same picture already broken into three different sets of pieces. Nothing to learn and nothing to remember: the choice is its own explanation.

4 pieces

Two rows of two. Pieces as big as a small hand — this is where everyone begins.

6 pieces

Two rows of three. The same picture, one step narrower.

8 pieces

Two rows of four. Still tall enough to grab, still easy to aim.

Choosing 4, 6 or 8 pieces
The size a child has not finished yet breathes gently. Finished ones wear a gold star.

Built on rules, not guesses

Six decisions behind every piece

These are not features added later. They are the constraints the whole game was written around.

Real pieces, not rectangles

A rectangle tells a child nothing about where it belongs, so the only feedback left is the app saying no. A tooth and a hollow are a physical promise — this bump goes into that gap — and that promise is exactly what a three-year-old is learning here.

Cut while you play

There is no library of 756 ready-made piece sets; there is one picture and one function that cuts it. The same picture at the same size is always cut identically, so a child who plays it again recognises the shapes — and half the pleasure of a second go is exactly that.

Forgiveness that grows

The catch zone is wider than half a piece, and it widens again every time the same piece is dropped just beside its place. The child who is struggling gets more help, silently, without anyone announcing that they are struggling.

The answer is never hidden

The board shows the finished picture, faded, with the cut lines drawn on it. Nothing is a secret and nothing must be memorised. The work is moving the pieces, and every piece put down makes the picture visibly better.

A hand that helps

After four still seconds, or three near misses, a hand appears and shows which piece goes where. Sound fires on touch rather than on drag, because a small finger often never travels far enough for a drag to begin.

Nothing is sold to a child

No adverts, no pop-ups, no rewarded videos, no links leading out of the app. The single purchase lives behind the parental gate, and the gate itself never unlocks anything on its own.

For grown-ups

You keep the keys

A space for parents

A space for parents

Settings and purchases are protected by an addition question. The gate helps prevent accidental access and does not replace supervision or device purchase controls.

Locked, not hidden

Locked, not hidden

Pictures that have not been bought show the real photograph, reduced to about twenty pixels and blown back up, behind a padlock. You can see there really are twenty more pictures made with care; your child cannot make out a puppy they would then be refused.

Six languages, one tap apart

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian and Romanian. Chosen by flag at first launch and changeable at any moment from Settings — the whole interface follows instantly.

Offline, private, quiet

All 252 pictures and 13 pieces of music install with the app. No internet needed to play, no account, no login, no advertising profile of your child. Progress is saved locally; device backup or transfer tools may keep a separate copy.

Simple and final

Try twelve. Buy the rest. Once.

No subscription, no coins, no energy bars, and no second purchase waiting for you later.

Questions

Everything parents ask us

Who is ABILAND Puzzle for?
Children between two and five, especially those who cannot read yet. The only written word a child ever meets is the word unlock on pictures that have not been bought — and that word is aimed at you, not at them.
How is it different from ABILAND — Toddler Worlds?
Toddler Worlds is eight kinds of minigame spread across 18 worlds. Puzzle does one thing only: jigsaws, with real pieces, 252 pictures and three sizes for each. Same studio, same rules about ads and data, a different game — and a separate purchase.
Are there ads or links out of the app?
None. No banners, no pop-ups, no rewarded videos, no social buttons, no browser links a child could reach. The only outside links are the legal ones in Settings, behind the parental gate.
Does it need an internet connection?
Installed game content works offline. Internet is used for store availability and purchase checks, buying or restoring content, and opening external support or legal pages.
What do I get for free?
The first picture of each of the twelve themes, at all three sizes: 12 puzzles, 36 games. Every theme is open, so a child can try all twelve subjects before you decide anything.
Is the purchase one-time?
Yes. A single non-consumable purchase opens the remaining 240 pictures forever. There is no subscription and nothing else to buy. Reinstalling or changing device restores it with the Restore Purchases button. Restore in the same game using the same store and store account. Purchases do not transfer between Apple and Google or between the two games.
Can a piece be put in the wrong place?
No. A piece only answers to its own slot, so a wrong drop simply floats it back to the tray. Nothing is lost, nothing is counted against the child, and there is no losing screen anywhere in the game.
What data do you collect?
Game progress stays on the device. Purchases are handled through the store; privacy details cover store services and support contact.
